Local business owners will be informed on how to use digital technologies within their organisations to improve sales at the upcoming BID for Business Breakfast, organised by Ballymena Business Improvement District (BID) and Ballymena Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The informative series, which has previously delivered advice on topics that include securing additional finance for your business, GDPR Support and how to become more business ‘Savvy’, will be led by guest speakers Daniel McCarry from Counter Digital and Stephen Reid from Grafters Media.
With the ever-changing world of digital technologies, it can be intimidating for businesses that lack digital knowledge, to know where to start. The BID for Business Breakfast will introduce attendees to the steps that should be taken to introduce digital technologies to their business, with the end goal of improving sales.
Speaking about the breakfast, Alison Moore, BID Manager said, “Once again, we have an excellent line up of speakers for our upcoming BID for Business Breakfast. We hope that by Daniel and Stephen sharing their expert knowledge, our traders will have the confidence to take the next steps in digital technologies, ultimately growing their businesses.”
Daniel McCarry, Director at Counter Digital in Belfast will provide attendees with an overview of the ‘Five Digital Tactics for Right Now’ and will focus on identifying a business’ digital marketing signposts, key personas, Facebook ad testing, proactive organic social media and more.
Stephen Reid will share his ‘Secrets for Successful Online Videos’. The Creative Director of Grafters Media will cover the power of emotion and humour in video, explain why storytelling matters and how to get shares that care. Stephen will provide a quick guide to videoing yourself and how local can be the greatest asset online.
The BID for Business Breakfast takes place on Thursday 29th November from 7:30am to 9:00am in the Adair Arms Hotel. The event is free to Ballymena BID and Chamber members, however non-members are also welcome for a small fee of £10 per head. A cooked breakfast will be provided to all attendees.
