Top tech firms recognised at NI Chamber Awards

  • Some of Northern Ireland’s leading technology firms were winners at NI Chamber’s recent Chamber Awards.

    FinTrU and LUMENSTREAM were presented with their awards at NI Chamber’s President’s Banquet in ICC Belfast.

    FinTrU won the Global Player category. The RegTech firm was acknowledged for its significant and sustained growth internationally. LED lighting specialist LUMENSTREAM picked up The Game Changer Award, in recognition of outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, while Allstate NI was Highly Commended in the Equality Trailblazer category. 

    Both FinTru and LUMENSTREAM will now go forward to represent Northern Ireland at the British Chambers of Commerce national awards ceremony on Thursday 9 December 2021.

    The Chamber Business Awards highlight the role of business in delivering growth and prosperity for the UK and local communities. With five categories, the awards recognise and reward Northern Ireland’s leading exporters, green business initiatives, entrepreneurs and companies which prioritise diversity and inclusion.

    Speaking about the awards Paul Murnaghan, President of Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: “Each year our judges are impressed by the calibre of entries, and this year was no different. I would like to wish all of our member businesses who were regional winners and highly commended my sincere congratulations. We wish FinTrU and LUMENSTREAM every success as they represent Northern Ireland at the British Chamber Awards.”

    Regional winners of each category include FinTrU (The Global Player); Encirc (The Planet Saver); Re-Gen Robotics (The Problem Solver); Lumenstream (The Game Changer); and Cundall (The Equality Trailblazer).

    Highly commended awards were claimed by Henry Brothers (The Planet Saver); Denroy Group (The Problem Solver); InspecVision (The Global Player); Connex Offsite (The Game Changer); and Allstate NI (The Equality Trailblazer).
