Belfast-based software company Kainos buys business in Argentina

  • Belfast-based software company Kainos has acquired IT consulting firm UNE Consulting, which is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

    Kainos, which is a digital technology company and Workday Services Partner, today announced it has completed the acquisition of UNE Consulting.

    This acquisition adds to Kainos’ growing investments in America and expands its partnership with Workday. 

    Kainos and UNE have been working on joint projects since 2019 and the acquisition builds on this relationship.

    UNE was founded in 2011 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. UNE offers deep expertise in the full range of Workday services, including Workday Financial Management and Workday Human Capital Management.  

    UNE are a team of 42 who are working across multiple international projects across America, as well as Europe and Asia. 

    This is Kainos’ fifth aqquisation in the Workday partner ecosystem. The company previously acquired IntuitiveTek in 2020, securing their base in Denver, Colorado.

    Kainos specialises in helping organisations to digitise their operations. It is has a current stock market valuation of about £2.4bn.
