Belfast-based IT company Kainos has bought a US firm for an undisclosed sum.
The indigenous NI business acquired Colorado-headquartered IntuitiveTEK, which has about 40 employees and specialises in financial consulting through technology.
BBC News reported that the deal is aimed at improving Kainos' position in the provision of Adaptive Insights, a business planning software product.
The deal is an “important step” for the expansion of Kainos’ business in the US, said its chief executive Brendan Mooney.
