What does your typical day look like?
A typical day involves working on project tasks addressing different customer needs as well as guiding team members with their assignments moving the project forward.
What are you currently working on?
I am currently leading the Oracle E-Business Suite upgrade for a major client, a big and challenging project due to the high number of customisations in place.
What inspired you to join this company in particular?
In addition to the positive feedbacks I have read, Version 1 is well known by its core values, something that I have identified myself with.
Did you always want to work in this industry (tech)?
Yes, I have always liked computers and started taking IT courses since high school.
What’s your favorite part about your work?
The constant learning and delivering projects that make a real difference for the customer.
What would you say to other people considering a job in this industry (tech)?
IT is a great area to work in, the opportunities and possibilities for innovation are endless and you will certainly have room for professional growth.
How do you see this technology impacting on our lives?
Technology allow us to access any information easily, shop online with a few clicks, plan travels and work from home, a reality for many in 2020.
Who inspired you to work in this field?
When I was young, I was very interested to know how games and softwares were created. My family have always supported me in joining the area.
What do you consider to be the most important tech innovation or development in recent years?
In my opinion Blockchain which offers a wide range of possibilities for application.
What tech gadget could you not live without?
I rely on my mobile. A mobile integrates everything in one device, not only we can make calls, take pictures and access the internet but we can also use several applications to perform a wide variety of tasks.
