FIX API Integration Analyst

  • Working hours 11am-7pm

    The FIX API Integration Analyst role has its primary focus on the BrokerTec Quote product (CME Group’s D2C electronic RFQ platform) and the responsibility to provide client integration/API certification and onboarding/testing support within the established SLA and CME Group’s customer service guidelines.


    As there is both a global customer base and global business and technology teams, this role will require flexibility and availability to engage with customers, vendors or CME Group during timeframes outside standard local business hours.

     

    Principle Accountabilities:

    • Provide and facilitate client integration and technical onboarding to BrokerTec Quote’s FIX API via video meetings, phone, email or in person.
    • Working on all aspects of integration with clients and vendors who are developing to or integrating with the CME Group’s BTQ API, following CSET customer service guidelines.

     

    Required experience and abilities:

    • Competent knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, its participants and electronic markets generally.
    • Strong hands-on experience working with FIX protocol via the integration of API clients, from inception to go-live, including manual certification testing via UNIX shell.
    • Experience supporting and troubleshooting both FIX API issues and more general client technical issues along with conformance testing with clients developers/BAs.
    • An innate team player with an ability to build and maintain good working relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.

     

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with agile release methodologies
    • Experience with AWS, GCP
    • Experience with databases/Excel in general to optimize informational processes and record keeping where needed
    • Experience with manual or automated test suite tools
