    Your role in the team

     

    The Risk and Compliance Consultant will work as a key ANI Risk and Compliance management team member on compliance-related projects in the areas of regulatory compliance, data protection, privacy, risk management and ethics.  They will report directly to the Risk & Compliance Senior Manager and will work closely with stakeholders in ANI and globally.

     

    The Risk and Compliance Consultant will work as part of the ANI R&C team, and with various global stakeholders to ensure ANI is in compliance with all laws and regulations, as well as internal standards.  This includes assisting with the completion of compliance projects for new and existing laws, development and maintenance of compliance policies and standards, maintaining ANI privacy and data protection processes, rolling out training across the company including the Annual Compliance training program for ANI, and assisting with other regulatory compliance, data protection, privacy, risk management, and ethics-related projects as required. 

     

    • Assist compliance team with implementation of various compliance projects including annual compliance process, data privacy impact assessments, regulatory compliance projects, etc.
    • Implement business strategies in the areas of regulatory compliance, data protection, and risk management.
    • Work cross-functionally with various internal stakeholders in planning and implementing compliance programs.
    • Build strong working relationships with partners across the enterprise and ensure alignment and consistency on the implementation of R&C activities within ANI
    • Develop policies, procedures and guidelines and provide training to internal teams.
    • Promote continuous improvement around compliance, risk management and data protection.
    • Ensure ANI is proactive and effective in preventing and managing privacy and security issues.
    • Actively embrace, implement and promote the vision, values and goals of Allstate NI by initiating, developing and taking active part in team and company activities.
    • Any other duties which may reasonably be required.  

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • Minimum of 1 year’s project delivery experience
    • Previous experience building strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels 

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Experience in any of the following: risk management, regulatory compliance, data protection, information security or ethics. 
    • Experience analyzing business processes and putting together process flow and recommending process changes and efficiencies.
    • A qualification in compliance, legal or privacy.
