    Your role in the team

     

    The Systems Engineering (SE) organization is operating right at the heart of the Transformational Growth (TG) programme by providing key enablement tools and services to the wider software engineering community here in ATSV.

     

    We are seeking enthusiastic developers for several roles in key product teams. These roles will be fully immersed in the new technology stack designated as the direction for the company in the TSA document. The successful candidates will work in a highly motivated XP team helping create core products for our enterprise product teams by helping to harness the full capabilities of our new technology platforms.

     

    These are truly exciting times for Allstate from a technology perspective.     So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • At least 1 years'  work experience in a software engineering role 
    • Be able to demonstrate a passion for learning and learning agility; and
    • Excellent communications skills

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Spring experience
    • ReactJS experience
    • Experience in writing automated tests for FE or BE components
    • Test driven development experience

     

    Selection Process

    • Candidates will be assessed against the essential criteria as listed above;
    • Candidates will sit a technical pairing assessment
    • Performance in the above assessment, combined with any additional desirable criteria will determine a candidate’s successful application for the available roles
