    Your role in the team

     

    The exciting role involves leading a team of up to eight experienced recruiters and administration support staff in the Talent Acquisition function at Allstate.  This role is challenging, meeting the immediate demands of the business and delivering the talent strategy over the longer term.  We are looking for someone with effective leadership experience managing a dynamic team and will be responsible for implementing improvements to current processes/practices.

    The successful candidate will have previous experience managing a Talent Acquisition function within a company conducting direct hiring for the business.  Experience in IT recruitment and aligned roles will be important and the ability to manage multiple relationships with candidates and internal clients will be critical to the success of this role.  Accurate reporting skills and meeting business deadlines are key expectations of the role. 

    The TA Manager role will report to the Senior HR Manager and is part of the wider HR team including HR Shared services, Learning & Development and the HR Business partnership team.  Integration and Collaboration across the wider HR function helps drive the current success of the TA team.

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • A minimum of 2 years leading a TA function and managing a team of recruiters.
    • The management experience stated above must have been gained within an IT organization where full in-house recruitment services were provided.
    • At least 5 years’ experience working as a recruiter in an individual contributor role.
    • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives within the TA function
    • Experience using Social Media recruitment tools (e.g. Linkedin) for candidate searches and campaign promotion.
    • Familiar with HR/Recruitment IT systems (i.e. SAP, Success Factors, Workday, People Soft, etc.)
    • Current Driver’s license with access to personal transport  or access to public transport to attend different company sites as required

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

                                    

    • Degree level qualification
    • Affiliate membership of IRP or associate member of CIPD

     

    Travel requirements

     

    • Inter-Office travel will be required to support team members and the function across our 3 sites in Northern Ireland.  Allstate will be operating a new hybrid working model from September and we Anticipate a requirement for the successful candidate to be in the Belfast office at least one day per week.
