Information Services provides the digital campus and Library Resources to support teaching, research and innovation for all the University’s students, staff and visitors. Our primary objective is to provide the highest quality user-facing services and associated enabling functions.
You will work within the Business Services team, delivering dedicated, bespoke development solutions for the Marketing Recruitment Communications and Internationalisation (MRCI) directorate of the University. You will be embedded in a CRM project, working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with new technology within a collegial environment.
This is a full-time position for 18 months. There is flexibility on the start and end times for the position, with the team’s core hours being between 10am-4pm.
The successful candidate must have:
• A primary or higher honours degree or equivalent qualification in a discipline with a significant computing element.(at least 50%)
Or
At least 4 years professional development experience using two of the following: JavaScript, C#, Microsoft .NET or PHP to develop online applications and services
• 2 years’ professional programming experience in the development of online applications and services running on Microsoft platforms using .NET/JavaScript
• Understanding of current web technologies and system development techniques, standards and practices

Salary scale: £33,797 to £40,322 per annum
