Site Reliability Engineer III - Markets

The successful joiner must be able to solve problems creatively, communicate effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior SREs and product development teams to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our Markets trading platform.
- Support the migration of markets applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring a seamless transition.
- Assist in automating tasks to enhance system scalability and reliability.
- Contribute to incident response and on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems.
- Experience with Cloud-based platform(s).
- Basic programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced trading environment.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, GCE, and/or GKE
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in financial markets
- Experience working in a story-driven, agile environment.
