    Markets Data, Risk and Controls Technology is a new group will be building technology solutions for various business risk and controls functions

    Over the past 5 years we have developed a platform for our business partners with the capability to create complex automated ETL processes to generate real time insights of trading activities.

     

    Job Overview:

    The Implementation team leader will work closely with the project manager and business analyst to translate business requirements into concrete deliveries with a focus to ensure these commitments are attainable, executed with the highest quality and delivered on time.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Build and manage a team focused on enhancing our framework through collaboration with our business partners to transform business requirements into actual deliveries.
    • Become an SME of our platform and take a hands-on approach to identify the best solutions.
    • Enable the team to work efficiently through challenges and a variety of complexities through consultation as well as removing roadblocks.
    • Outline path to achieve project objectives by breaking down large items into smaller attainable tasks.
    • Focus on understanding existing processes and proactively recommend improvements
    • Navigate through the large CITI ecosystem and make decisions with limited information

     

    Experience & Qualifications 

    • Substantial experience in leading a team
    • Substantial experience in owning a domain with project lifecycle deliveries
    • Extensive hands-on experience in working with relational / non-relational DBs to turn data into insights
    • Experience in managing international client relationships / senior stakeholders
    • Strong ability to multi-task and to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks due to frequent changes, delays, interruptions and unexpected events
    • Strong communication skills
    • Excellent English written and oral communication skills
    • Advanced MS Office skills
    • A go-getter, works well independently, proactive and self-motivated
    • Strong sense of ownership and ability to deliver
    • Have a ‘wide angle’ vision and system-wide perspective of software and online products
    • Detail oriented, organized and methodological mindset
    • Experience in troubleshooting code and logs (Linux)
    • Experience with parsing messages (ex: JSON, XML) 
    • Hands-on experience in Scripting Languages (Python / R)
    • Knowledge of Financial Markets and Products
