This week journalist Niamh Campbell chats with Columb Duffy, senior manager at Allstate NI and one of this year's curators at BelTech 2021.
They discuss what attendees can expect from the upcoming virtual event and also talk about the evolving tech scene and its talent pipelines within Northern Ireland.
Columb has worked in IT for 30 years. At Allstate, he is a senior manager leading Innovation R&D and solutions architecture practice. He also leads a council/educational partnership outside of work on developing the talent pipeline of IT professionals, and is passionate about creating business value through tech innovations.
At BelTech, Columb is curating the Digital Product Delivery track which is new to the conference this year. Much of this theme will reflect the adaptations made across the tech landscape, both locally and internationally, to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and explore how best to create multi-disciplinary teams that deliver value efficiently.
