About Us:
Esri Ireland specialises in the application of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), helping customers record where things happen and analyse why, with the aim of providing insight and helping them to make better decisions. Our business is built on the belief that knowing where things happen matters.
We are the market leader in the supply of GIS software and consultancy services in Ireland, a position that we have maintained since our inception here. Esri Ireland has grown from a company of seven employees in 2002, to 52 employees with an additional 27 contractors all based across our offices in Dublin and Holywood, Co. Down.
Esri Ireland is part of the Esri Global Network, a billion-dollar privately held software company at the forefront of innovation in the spatial software industry with nearly 10,000 employees worldwide.
Our Product & Services:
As Esri’s representative in Ireland we are focused on the ArcGIS Platform, and its associated software components, as being the GIS technology of choice for any organisation seeking to integrate geospatial information into their business. Esri’s ArcGIS technology is a platform which runs on more than one million desktops and thousands of web and enterprise servers throughout the world, providing the backbone for the world's mapping and spatial analysis.
When people think Esri & GIS they often think of our technology only. However we believe that it is people who ultimately power technology. We believe it is the knowledge, skills and expertise of our people involved that influence how well technology is deployed. Our aim is to create and deliver customer experience by combining our global market leading brand with locally available, highly skilled and experienced ‘location’ specialists.
Our Vision:
“For Geographic Information to be an indispensable part of our customers’ decision-making processes”
Our vision reinforces the importance of the “customer” in our strategic and future thinking. It also reinforces the value of knowledge, knowhow, expertise and skill in the use and application of “geographic information”. The emphasis on “indispensable” reflects the belief that we have in what it is we do and moreover underpins a strategy of being more than just a supplier to our customers.
