Workplus has announced 75 opportunities in its latest campaign as more employers embrace apprenticeships as a way to attract and mould new talent.
The My Head Start campaign aims to inspire society to see the value of apprentices and tells the stories of apprentices across Northern Ireland who are thriving in their career and education.
Workplus applications will be open from 18-29 August and include apprenticeships in IT, Engineering, Business Admin and more, including Higher Level Apprenticeships.
The apprenticeship roles are across various levels in companies throughout Northern Ireland. Opportunities in this campaign include roles within AIB, Civica, JP Corry and Options Technology.

Workplus has over 60 member companies, from large multinationals to growing SMEs, offering a coordinated campaign. Rather than applying to companies directly, applicants can apply for multiple opportunities through Workplus.
Speaking about the opportunities, Richard Kirk, CEO of Workplus, said: “These roles are for school leavers and career changers, for high academic achievers and for those with lower grades. An apprenticeship is about having a job from the start, and provides a superb blend of working and learning, with clear career progression and dedicated mentoring. The apprenticeship culture is growing and changing. At Workplus, we are working with more companies than ever before, with more organisations across the sectors catching the vision for apprenticeships.”
Commenting on her experience with Workplus, Ellie Glackin, who is doing a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering at AECOM, said: “I’m really enjoying my apprenticeship – it’s a great opportunity to be on a clear career path, earn and continue education. The Workplus application process is simple and makes it so much easier to find the right apprenticeship.”
