Digital health company ResMed has officially opened its new technology R&D facility in Dublin with plans to create 70 new jobs.
The San Diego-headquartered global digital health company is investing €30m in R&D in Ireland.
The company plans to double their Ireland-based software and technology team to support innovation, technology development and product development. The roles will include both high skilled and high paying jobs, such as mobile, AWS, full-stack software developers and algorithm/machine learning engineers.

ResMed specialises in medical products to treat sleep apnea.
Speaking at the opening of the new Tánaiste Leo Varadkar said: “Ireland has become recognised globally for the talent of our workforce, especially in the area of healthcare technology and medical devices. ResMed’s products make a real difference to so many people’s lives and it’s great Ireland is playing such an important role in that effort.”
Mick Farrell, CEO of ResMed, said this latest investment will support the continued growth of ResMed's product portfolio to meet the needs of patients across Ireland, Europe and the world.
Mr. Farrell added: "It will also create new capabilities and skills within our expanding team in Ireland and support our global innovation strategy."
