  • The open university in Northern Ireland, in partnership with the Department of the Economy, is offering a limited number of fully funded postgraduate modules and microcredential courses across a number of subjects including technology.

    All courses are largely delivered online, allowing applicants to fit study around life.

    There are five different technology Postgraduate modules that offer the opportunity for full funding; Data Management, Network Security, Information Security, Strategic capabilities for technological innovation and Technology and innovation management.

    There are also a number of microcredentials in the technology sector including Cyber Security Operations and Devops Using Devnet, both endorsed by Cisco Networking Academy.

    To be eligible for a fully funded place you must be: domiciled in Northern Ireland, eligible to work in Northern Ireland, settled in Northern Ireland, and ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years or have indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK and over 18 years of age. You must also meet the individual entry requirements for your chosen module.

    The closing date to apply for this funding is 6pm on 1 October 2021.
