Version 1 establishes Digital Development Hub in Belfast

  • IT service provider Version 1 has announced the establishment of a Digital Development Hub in Belfast and the creation of 70 specialist IT jobs.

    The Digital Development Hub will service increased customer demand for Digital and Cloud solutions and services from local and global customers in both public and private sectors.

    Having first established a presence in Belfast in 2012, the expansion will support Version 1’s continued growth strategy creating 70 new roles by October 2021 and bringing the local headcount to 200 employees.

    The announcement comes on the back of a strong deals pipeline into 2021 and a number of new wins including a nearshore development contract with a global wealth management company operating across 28 countries headquartered in London.

    The company is actively recruiting talent to join the Digital Development Hub with roles for Cloud-Native Software Developers; Test Automation Specialists; Site Reliability, Data, Platform and DevOps Engineers; Service Designers; Product and Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters.
