Automated Intelligence celebrates 10 years while helping businesses work remotely

  • Local data management tech firm Automated Intelligence is celebrating 10 years of supporting businesses this month as it helps clients adapt to remote working.

Working from home may be new to many of us in the tech industry, but for some firms it's been a way of life for years. Firms that offer remote positions often find hiring easier and retention of key staff higher, and are able to save costs in both offices and salaries by hiring outside of major cities.

The tools required to move workflows remote have never been in higher demand, and many local tech firms are finding themselves suddenly switching to remote work while trying to keep a handle on their data and security. Belfast-based firm Automated Intelligence has been supporting clients to adapt to remote work while scaling business operations recently, and this month it celebrated 10 years of operation.

The company offers a cloud-based data management paltform named AI.DATALIFT, a platform designed to help companies keep a handle on their data as they scale up, providing key insights on business activity. The firm is now helping companies securely manage data online through platforms such as Microsoft Teams, which has become much more popular with many teams now working remote.

With the rise in demand for its services from companies now working remotely, Automated Intelligence is now aiming its sights on the booming FinTech and financial services sector. It expects to close deals with several major financial organisations, adding to its list of clients that already includes major banks, government agencies, NHS trusts, and media outlets.

Automated Intelligence CEO Simon Cole commented on the milestone: "Since our launch in May 2010, our focus has always been on helping our customers to be more successful by better managing their data. Typically, we help customers with data insight, risk identification and compliance reporting. While this continues, in the current circumstances we find ourselves helping businesses that have struggled to implement remote working due to the absence of proper cloud infrastructure to connect their users with their data."
