Belfast-based Sugar Rush Creative has been listed in the best global app development companies by Washington business guide, The Manifest.

It is the only Northern Ireland company to have been named alongside agencies trading in the US, Canada, South Africa, India and Europe.

Sugar Rush has also ranked in the top 40 of The Manifest’s list of top 100 UK app development companies.

Its founder, Ali MacFarlane said: “I’m completely humbled that our agency has received global recognition among the best app development companies operating across the world at a time when I have, like so many other business owners in Northern Ireland, questioned how we are going to survive this crisis we have found ourselves in.

“We have had to completely remodel our business and work from home to service our clients. This recognition by The Manifest is testament to the award-winning app development that we have become renowned for producing and it’s a real boost for our staff as we try to navigate our way to recovery.

“I have had so many conversations with my clients and peers over the past few weeks who, like ourselves, have been negatively impacted by the global pandemic but I’m optimistic that as we start to move into the next phase, the resilience of the best of the Northern Ireland business community will shine through.”

Founded in Belfast, Sugar Rush Creative also has an office in London and has previously been awarded Small UK App Agency of the Year.
