Last chance to apply for Start-up World Cup

  • The Start-up World Cup is giving new businesses the opportunity to win a $1m investment prize, and the deadline for applications is tomorrow (13 February) at midnight.

The Belfast heat of the competition will be held in Ormeau Baths on 25 February, where Northern Ireland's novice entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses to experienced investors.

The winners will then head off to the international final in San Francisco on 22 May to compete for the main prize.

Medical 3D-printing specialists Axial3D won the Belfast heat in 2019, beating 12 other emerging NI tech companies. They were also awarded a token prize of £2,500.

Startups hoping to be in with the chance of winning can apply here.
