Pinnacle: IT firm wins top award six years in a row

  • Business software and IT company Pinnacle won  “Sage 200cloud Partner of the Year 2019” for the sixth consecutive year as announced by Sage UK, the market leader in cloud business management solutions.

The award reflects the highest sales in the Sage UKI channel of Sage 200cloud software and was announced at a Sage channel awards gala ceremony in London to over 300 Sage partners and ISVs.

The managing director of Belfast-headquartered Pinnacle, James Spencer said the firm wanted to “attribute this award to reacting quickly to customer and market demands as well as focusing on cluster markets.

“We have continued to attract new customers with one of our biggest growth years at around a 20% increase in software sales, including an increase in subscription. The award means a lot to our teams who are on the road selling, delivering and supporting Sage 200cloud solutions to businesses throughout the UK and Ireland”.

Sabby Gill, managing director of Sage UK and Ireland, added that “Pinnacle is a valued Sage channel partner who proves year on year their commitment to Sage and their customers.  In 2019 Pinnacle delivered double-digit growth selling Sage 200cloud solutions to the mid-market.

"Pinnacle truly embodies the spirit of partnership, by delivering impactful marketing campaigns, adopting and introducing new initiatives and championing change. Congratulations to James Spencer and all the team at Pinnacle”.

Pinnacle has been operating for 25 years. Its head office is in Belfast, with 10 further office locations across the UK and Ireland including Dublin. The company has grown to over 120 staff with a turnover of £16million, and says it "is now rapidly growing its IT services division so its customers have a “one-stop-shop” for all their technology needs."
