This year’s Big Data Belfast conference will be taking place on Thursday 24th October at the ICC Belfast.

The event aims to help individuals and organisations to gain industry-leading insight and engage with decision-makers, experts and talent from a variety of industries.

Delegates at this year’s conference will hear from industry experts such as Derek Hosty, head of global data for Diaceutics, nuclear scientist turned machine learning engineer Dr Clair Sullivan from GitHub and Data Analytics Director Paul Brook from Dell Technologies.

Also speaking are leaders from Reach plc, the UK’s largest newspaper group, as well as trade finance firm Coriolis Technologies, Allstate NI and Lucinity, an anti-money laundering and compliance augmented intelligence firm.

Last year, the event welcomed over 500 delegates from over 100 companies, across a broad range of industries.

Dr Aislinn Rice, Managing Director of organisers Analytics Engines, said: “We plan to build upon the success of last year’s event and provide a platform to educate, inform and inspire. With a strong focus on both the technical aspect of data and the business use cases that have driven the latest data innovations, the event will appeal across industry and the public sector.”

The event’s headline sponsor is Ernst & Young (EY) and is also supported by  sponsors Dell, CME Group, Allstate Northern Ireland, SmashFly, SpotX, Altra Executives and industry sponsors Invest NI and Signifyd.
