The Business Post Media Group has announced a significant investment in Digital DNA, the Belfast based event management and technology company.

Digital DNA is best known for its annual business and technology event which attracts over 3,000 people to Belfast over two days.

This new and exciting chapter of Digital DNA will continue to be led by Simon Bailie, who took on the role of CEO in June 2018.

“This is a tremendous show of confidence in the future of Digital DNA and will help us accelerate our ambitious growth plans in Ireland, the UK and globally. Likewise the link up with the Business Post Media Group and its flagship Sunday Business Post is a fantastic fit for us,” Simon said.

Founded in 2012, Digital DNA has been a catalyst and dynamic platform for major employers and stakeholders such as PwC, Allstate, Danske and the MCS Group, to showcase the best of Northern Ireland’s technology industry.

In addition to the annual conference, the company also hosts The Digital DNA Awards, NI’s leading awards of its kind.

The investment will align the Business Post Media Group to one of the strongest business and technology brands on the island of Ireland, and strengthen the Business Post’s respected position within the Northern Ireland Business Community.

“The investment fits our long-term strategy and plans as a digital media, events and services business, ” said Enda O’Coineen, the Business Post Publisher and CEO.

He also paid tribute to Digital DNA’s Director Brian Corry, Founder Gareth Quinn and CEO Simon Ballie, stating: “Without the amazing vision and execution since 2012, Digital DNA would not be what it is today and we are delighted that Brian and Gareth will continue to help deliver on our vision for the future.”
