Novosco expanding Belfast office by 50% to accommodate growth

  • Belfast IT infrastructure firm Novosco is expanding its office space by 50% to accommodate all of its recent hires and prepare for future expansion.

It's been a great year for Novosco, with the firm winning a massive £107m seven-year contract with Cambridge University Hospitals Trust last year and undergoing rapid expansion with a ton of new positions opening. The Belfast staff count is now at 220 and there are plans in place to bring that to over 300, which will run into the limits of the firm's its current office space.

The company has now acquired an additional 5,000 sq ft in Catalyst Inc's Concourse 3 building in the Titanic Quarter, on the floor below its current 11,000 sq ft facility. This new floor will be used for the team working on the Cambridge University Hospitals Trust contract, and will provide space for the company as it approaches that 300 staff target.

Novosco Managing Director, Patrick McAliskey, said: “Our biggest focus is on providing a fantastic environment for our team to thrive in, and we have worked hard to ensure that our new office space achieves this. Increasing our footprint in Belfast is another important landmark in Novosco’s growth and will enable us to continue to expand our team, adding significant value to the local economy.”

Novosco recently won Best Large Tech Company at the Digital DNA Awards and last year announced a major £20m expansion plan that included 150 additional staff.
