NI cloud software company Anaeko sponsors GAA street league

  • Enniskillen-based cloud software company Anaeko's growth is now helping its local community with the sponsorship of a new cross-community GAA league.

Software development and sports don't usually go hand-in-hand, but Enniskillen-based cloud software and analytics firm Anaeko is a positive exception. The company is going through a period of growth with 10 new jobs opening up at its Enniskillen office, which was opened in 2017 to provide a better work-life balance for staff travelling from Enniskillen to the Belfast office.

The health of employees and their work-life balance are important to Anaeko, and now the firm is helping to invest in the local community by sponsoring the Enniskillen Gaelic football street league. This sponsorship is part of a cross-community effort that will bring kids from 5 local schools to compete in a 5-week league.

Barry Donnelly, Anaeko Chief People Officer spoke about the choice to focus on the local community in Enniskillen, saying "It’s a lifestyle choice between Belfast and Fermanagh and these employees are falling squarely on Fermanagh side, as would many others if there were opportunities."

Anaeko provides data storage and analytics services to global technology companies and plan to take their cloud skills to the UK government. The firm is currently hiring for a mix of senior and junior roles including .NET and Java developers, test engineers, Python developers, and a Technical Delivery Manager.
