Integrity360 launches new Managed OT Security Services

  • Integrity360 has launched a new portfolio of Managed OT Security Services, extending its existing Operational Technology (OT) security practice to help organisations continuously manage security across industrial and operational environments.

The launch responds to growing demand from organisations for ongoing management of OT security, alongside existing consulting, assessment and professional services.

OT environments require a different security approach from traditional IT. Systems used in areas such as manufacturing, utilities, transport and building automation can remain operational for long periods, while patching or taking equipment offline may affect production and other critical processes. This means organisations may need to mitigate vulnerabilities through other controls while maintaining the availability of operational systems.

Brian Martin, Director of Product Management at Integrity360, says: “OT environments are increasingly targeted, but securing them is quite different from securing traditional IT. You may be dealing with equipment that has been running for years and you cannot simply patch or switch off without affecting the physical process it supports.

“We’re also seeing more customers asking for help managing OT security on an ongoing basis. That means moving beyond individual assessments or projects and helping them continually understand their exposure, monitor for threats and prepare for how they will respond.”

The new portfolio brings together Integrity360’s OT security expertise and its existing managed security capabilities across five areas:

Managed OT Security Posture helps organisations identify the assets within their OT environment, understand which are most important and identify vulnerabilities and exposures. It provides ongoing management of those exposures, including orchestrating remediation and mitigation, including where conventional patching may sometimes not be possible.

Managed OT Access Security focuses on controlling access to OT environments, including employees, third parties and remote users. It covers identities, privileged access and remote connectivity to help organisations govern who can access operational systems and what they can do.

Managed OT Network Security covers the security of communications and network infrastructure within OT environments. This includes segmentation between different parts of an OT network and between IT and OT environments, alongside ongoing management of network security controls.

Managed OT Threat Detection provides monitoring configured specifically for OT environments to detect, validate and investigate threats, followed by escalation and guidance on response. Organisations can use it as dedicated OT threat monitoring or combine OT detections with wider IT security telemetry through an integrated IT and OT monitoring model.

Managed OT Resilience & Response supports organisations in preparing for and responding to cyber incidents affecting operational environments. This includes incident response support, playbooks and preparedness exercises, with a focus on recovering safely while limiting operational disruption and improving overall resilience

The portfolio also supports governance across these five areas through compliance-ready reporting, risk-based assurance and control mapping aligned with OT-relevant security standards and frameworks.

Threat detection and response in OT can require a different operating model from IT security. Automated containment actions that may be appropriate for an IT endpoint can have significant consequences when applied to operational equipment. Integrity360 will therefore work with organisations to establish response playbooks that define how its security operations teams collaborate with plant and OT engineering teams when they detect threats.

Martin continues: “With OT security, response must take account of what the technology is controlling. Taking automated action against a compromised laptop is one thing. Taking equipment offline when it is part of a production line or critical process is very different.

“That is why the managed service combines security monitoring with an understanding of the operational environment. The aim is to give customers the information and support they need to respond to a threat without creating a bigger operational problem.”

Integrity360 has expanded its OT capabilities over the past year following its acquisition of French OT security specialist Holiseum in March 2025. The Managed OT Security Services portfolio builds upon on its longstanding managed security services track record, combining it with Integrity360’s existing OT practice expertise, which provides consulting and professional services across OT security GRC, auditing, offensive security, engineering, and incident investigation.
