From Portadown to the world: Ulster Carpets' growth story in focus

  • NI Chamber’s next Grow with Danske Bank event will explore how one of Northern Ireland’s most successful manufacturers built a global reputation from local roots.
     
    Taking place at McConnell’s Distillery, Belfast, on Tuesday 22 September, the event will feature Nick Coburn CBE, Group Chief Executive Officer of Ulster Carpets, in conversation with host Claire McCollum.
     
    Together, they will discuss the company’s growth journey and the role that innovation, quality and reputation have played in building a trusted international brand.
     
     
    Based in Portadown, Ulster Carpets designs and manufactures luxury carpets for residential and hospitality projects around the globe. Its products feature in some of the world's most prestigious hotels, casinos and cruise ships, earning the company an international reputation for quality and design excellence.
     
    Attendees will hear first-hand insights into scaling a business internationally, building customer trust, protecting brand reputation and identifying opportunities for long-term growth. The event is aimed at SME owners, founders and senior leaders planning the next phase of growth for their business.
     
    The event forms part of NI Chamber’s Grow with Danske Bank series, which is also supported by SME Partner, Power NI. It is free for NI Chamber members to attend.
