Danske Bank’s Small Business Digital Account has received a Five-Star Rating from independent financial information provider Moneyfacts.
The rating follows an independent assessment of business current accounts across the UK, comparing fees, features and overall value.
Ryan Mawhinney, Head of Small Business at Danske Bank, said: “Small businesses are at the very heart of the Northern Irish economy. We’re proud to support business customers of all shapes and sizes across Northern Ireland, and we’re committed to supporting smaller firms and start-ups with simple, transparent and flexible banking solutions. It’s fantastic to see our Small Business Digital Account being recognised with a Moneyfacts Five-Star Rating, reflecting our ongoing investment in improving our digital services and commitment to making everyday banking easier for our customers.”
Lee Tillcock, Managing Editor of Business Moneyfacts, added: “The Danske Bank Small Business Digital Account is highly deserving of its Moneyfacts Five-Star Rating. It has a transparent fee structure and provides essential banking features, ideal for smaller firms or start-ups that need to keep a tight rein on cash flow. Its digital first design makes it a great choice for those banking on the go, which can help users save time.
“Vital to the success of businesses, the challenges of the past year have seen the continuing importance of products in the business current account sector further emphasised. The impressive range of features offered to meet the needs of modern-day businesses means that there are plenty of options to consider when choosing a business current account – something that the sector and regulator are clearly keen to promote. The annual Moneyfacts Business Current Account Star Ratings provide businesses with valuable insight into the quality of the features on offer, before assessing the individual costs.”
Danske Bank’s Small Business Digital Account is aimed at businesses that manage most of their banking online.
