Oasis Travel’s £100k digital investment takes flight

  • NI largest independent travel agency invests in digital technology to enhance customer experience-

Oasis Travel has announced a £100,000 investment in digital technology, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and enhancing how customers manage and enjoy their holidays.

The investment focuses on strengthening the business’s digital capabilities, including the development of a new Oasis Travel app, designed to give customers instant access to all essential travel information in one place.

Now live following 18 months of development, the app is already being used by thousands of customers, and initial feedback has been extremely encouraging.  The app officially launched two months ago and continues to be rolled out across the Oasis Travel customer base.

To support the management of the app, Oasis Travel created three new specialist roles. Known as Travel Experience Concierges, the new team members form part of a dedicated digital support team, working closely with Oasis Travel’s specialist travel advisors to build personalised digital itineraries for customers within the app.

Explaining why the business has invested in its own travel app, Scott McCabe, Managing Director of Oasis Travel comments: “Like many industries, travel is evolving, and how customers book and experience travel is changing. There can be a lot of information involved in one trip and the Oasis Travel app moves customers from printed travel wallets to an easy-to-use app that stores and accesses everything related to their trip.

“There is huge demand for travel right now, but it’s also accepted that changes can and do happen. Having a real-time app on your phone that delivers the latest information, regardless of where you are in the world, is incredibly beneficial for today’s travellers.”

The Oasis Travel app includes airline information and live flight updates, boarding passes and key documents and real-time updates from travel providers. It marks the next chapter in Oasis Travel’s journey as it continues to invest in the business, which marked 40 years in 2025.
