The shortlist for the Irish eCommerce Awards 2025 has been revealed, with a record-breaking 350 entries submitted this year, the highest in the event’s history. A notable trend emerging from the submissions is the growing role of AI and automation, reflecting the rapid evolution and innovation within the Irish eCommerce space.
AIB Merchant Services (AIBMS) has reaffirmed its commitment to the sector by returning as headline sponsor for the fourth consecutive year. The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 19 September, at The Round Room at The Mansion House in Dublin, and will welcome around 400 of Ireland’s most innovative and dynamic digital commerce leaders. This year’s hosts will be TV presenter Síle Seoige and comedian Julie Jay, with Purple House Cancer Support being chosen as the charity for the evening.
Previous winners include leading Irish brands such as Gym+Coffee, Louis Copeland & Sons, Henderson Foodservice, Kilkenny Design, and Sculpted by Aimee. One of the standout additions for 2025 is the new eCommerce Entrepreneur of the Year category, which has already drawn significant interest and a high calibre of nominations from across the country. And, to note is the fact several companies this year were shortlisted in multiple categories - these included - Ella & Jo, An Post, Musgrave Marketplace, Bellamianta, Dec’s Pets, Aviva Ireland, Gigi Supplements, and SuperValu.
