Staff at Queen’s University and their families are set to benefit from world-leading inclusive software worth around £250,000.
This software will support more than 4,000 staff, and their families, to work more effectively by adapting to different learning needs and working styles, both at work and at home.
The donation strengthens Queen’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, making digital content more accessible and creating a more supportive working environment.

Everway, formerly known as Texthelp, is providing an Enterprise Licence for Read&Write for Work - a set of discrete reading, writing, and communication tools designed to unlock the full potential of every employee.
Originally created to support neurodivergent users, including those with dyslexia, the software is now widely used by people of all abilities, helping them to think, learn, and work more efficiently, using flexible features like Text-to-speech, dictation, screen masking.
Professor Sir Ian Greer, President and Vice Chancellor of Queen’s University, said: “We are honoured to receive such a generous gift from Everway, which will not only benefit our staff but also their families. Queen’s is one of the largest employers in Northern Ireland, and our greatest asset is our staff and students. Already available to students, this gift will further enhance our focus on diversity and inclusion by giving our staff access to vital resources to help them, and their families, to reach their full potential.”
Read&Write for Work helps employees of all abilities work more productively and confidently, whether they are neurodivergent, working in multilingual teams, or face everyday reading and writing challenges. The software plays a vital role in supporting inclusive workplaces, helping organisations attract and retain diverse talent.
