Q. What does your typical day look like?
My typical day starts at 6am with a morning routine designed to energize and motivate me. After some light exercise and a cold shower, I spend time meditating and playing guitar to clear my mind and spark creativity. Then, I engage in challenging reading to sharpen my thinking. By beginning my day with a structured routine, I am better equipped to tackle the tasks ahead with focus and enthusiasm.
Q. What are you currently working on?
My current project involves developing a prototype for a pharmaceutical client to automate their risk assessment procedure. This is a challenging yet exciting opportunity to apply advanced technology to a critical industry need.
Q. What inspired you to join this company in particular?
I was inspired to join EY due to the strong alignment between the company's culture and values and with my own. After thorough research, I quickly realized that EY was my top choice. The company's commitment to integrity, diversity, and inclusivity resonated deeply with me. Looking back, I am confident that I made the right decision in joining EY.
Q. Did you always want to work in this industry?
Initially, my focus was on solving challenging problems and developing methodologies. While I wasn't specifically set on the tech industry, I found data analysis to be the perfect intersection of my interests in math and philosophy. In data analysis, I am able to think abstractly to identify solutions, and then apply rigorous logic to bring them to fruition. It's a satisfying and fulfilling career path that allows me to make a meaningful impact through problem-solving.
Q. What’s your favourite part about your work?
I find that there are two equally important aspects that I love about my work - the people I work with and the challenges I face. The people I work with are truly amazing, and their support and collaboration have been instrumental in my growth and development. At the same time, the challenging tasks I encounter on a daily basis stimulate my mind and push me to grow professionally. I believe that these two elements are fundamental to job satisfaction, and I am fortunate to have both in my current role.
Q. What would you say to other people considering a job in this industry?
For me, the tech industry is a great fit because I love solving complex problems and using my mind in creative ways. Even if you don't have a background in tech, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and learn on the job. I also really enjoy the collaborative nature of the industry, working with a team of talented individuals to achieve common goals.

Q. How do you see technology impacting our lives?
Technology plays a big role in our lives, making things easier and freeing up time for us to focus on what's important. It has the power to boost efficiency, productivity, and connectivity, and opens up exciting new opportunities for learning and growth.
Q. Who inspired you to work in this field?
Definitely my Fiancé and some of my friends, whom I saw working on these types of challenges when I was in the final year of my studies. This gave me the necessary inspiration to begin learning coding parallel to my course.
Q. What do you consider to be the most important tech innovation or development in recent years?
In my opinion, the most significant tech innovation of recent years has been the advancement of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. These cutting-edge developments have the potential to revolutionize entire industries and greatly enhance our daily lives in numerous ways, ranging from healthcare to transportation to entertainment. The possibilities are truly limitless, and I'm particularly interested in the continuing growth and development of this field.
Q. What tech gadget could you not live without?
Most likely my phone as I use it to plan and organise my day/tasks with alarms going off very often (which might annoy some people in my immediate vicinity) to keep me on track.
