  • Graduate programmes in Forensic Technology, Legal Technology with PwC - Autumn 2021

We use technical and business knowledge to solve our clients’ problems. And because we offer so many different technology services we need people with different experiences to help us deliver them effectively. Digital is the new normal, transforming how we work and live.

At PwC, as we focus on future innovations, we’re investing in the best and most diverse talent of today and tomorrow. We’re pushing forward with the use of technology within our own business - enabling our people to work more efficiently and collaborate more easily. All this is part of our commitment to put technology at the centre of our strategy as we continue to help our clients navigate the future digital landscape.

    Forensic Technology
Our Forensic Technology team helps clients manage vast amounts of electronic data and navigate the legal and business processes that are mandated by critical events

Prevention is even better; knowing where vulnerabilities are and managing the risks involved. When disputes or regulatory investigations arise, a timely resolution relies on organisations being prepared. And this is what we help our clients with every day.

You can join us in the following team:

    Legal Technology
PwC works with some of the largest UK and international organisations. As these organisations are collecting and using more data than ever before, the use of technology plays an integral role in driving their business and serving their customers. We design, build and deliver solutions using a number of cutting edge tools to improve our client’s business and solve commercial challenges.

    What you’ll do
You will work alongside industry-recognised specialists in computer forensics, electronic discovery, information governance and disclosure. Much of our work centres on the analysis of large volumes of electronic data. And because we operate in an environment where speed of response is often critical to our clients, you’ll be constantly innovating and drawing on the very latest technologies. Our engagements frequently involve us working in cross-border teams alongside regulators, legal advisers and across other parts of our wider business – providing opportunities for international travel too.

    What you’ll gain
When you join the Forensic Technology team you’ll receive training in a wide range of technical and non-technical skills. This can include data manipulation techniques, machine learning, big data technologies, programming and advanced data visualisation training and certifications. We’ll also encourage you to attend in-depth training led by our technology partners based on your individual development needs.

As we look to harness artificial intelligence, expert systems, robotics and machine learning to assist our clients, you will have the opportunity to get involved in some innovative projects where we utilise these technologies to solve real life issues. By assessing their current technology stack and exploring the ever changing market, you will help answer questions such as “Where are the gaps and what existing processes can be improved?”, “How can technology be utilised to deliver more value to our clients?” and “How can we best integrate different technologies into one solution?”

    What you'll need
If you are naturally inquisitive, have an analytical mind and enjoy solving problems, we would be interested in talking to you. Candidates should also be prepared to travel as some of our opportunities can require team members to work at other PwC offices or client sites across the UK or overseas on a temporary basis.

You’ll need a 2.1 degree or be on target to achieve a 2.1 degree in a STEM related subject (Science / Technology / Engineering / Mathematics) and demonstrate a passion for a career in technology and how organisations use it. We determine whether you're on course for a 2.1. based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.

Our work is technical and successful candidates should be able to evidence experience in one or more of the following competency areas:

    • Emerging technologies (e.g. Contract Lifecycle Management, RPA, Machine Learning, Blockchain).
    • Data analysis (for example using SQL/Python).
    • Data visualisation.
    • Programming or scripting experience.
