Our job is to understand what technological challenges our clients are facing, and then find the best solutions to help them improve how they work. Our teams specialise in a range of skills from those with existing computer science and programming expertise to those from wider STEM backgrounds but with the desire to learn. It’s about being tech-savvy and great with people.

    Technology in Technology Consulting

We’re building a better working world by transforming businesses through the power of people, technology and innovation. We deliver technology-enabled transformation to our clients to help generate long-term value. Our teams fuse business insight with technology, digital and data solutions for competitive advantage.

    What will you be doing?

    • Working across a range of industries to address technology challenges for our clients
    • Building your knowledge of data analytics, cyber security, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence
    • Working across a range of industries to address technology challenges for our clients
    • Using technology knowledge and business experience to recommend the best solutions for our clients
    • Helping our clients to put in place organisation-wide transformation programme changes
    • You’ll also be expected to be flexible and may spend large proportions of your time away from your office

    Are you eligible to apply?

We’re looking for students that have a passion and interest in technology and/or those that have some experience of: SQL, Python, R, Java, C++ or PowerBI and knowledge of cloud computing, cyber security, data analysis/manipulation and reporting. If you’re in your penultimate year of university and studying for a STEM or computer science-related honours degree that includes a one-year placement, this programme is for you. You’ll also need a minimum of Leve 2/GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language & Maths, and three A-levels/5 Highers or equivalent.

    How’s it structured?

Over the course of a year, you’ll have access to many different experiences and learning opportunities across a diverse range of clients, industries, and projects. We’ll help you develop the skills to decipher how each client problem is different and to find innovative ways of solving them. You’ll learn to combine your tech knowledge with business experience across entire organisations or specific areas like finance, operations or risk functions. There’s no limit to what you can get involved in and all along the way you’ll be supported by your team.

You’ll attend training courses alongside our graduates and have access to learning and development resources as well as a supportive team to lend a hand. Since no two projects will be the same, we’ll coach and mentor you in a way that will prepare you for anything. You’ll also be part of a large community with both our graduates and the wider Technology Consulting team which is a great opportunity to build your network, participate in corporate sustainability events and develop your leadership skills.

At the end of the year, if you’re great at your job, you could be asked to join one of our graduate programmes once you’ve finished university.
