For the sixth time Northern Ireland’s corporate finance community has voted Danske Bank as ‘Corporate Banking Team of the Year’. The bank picked up the award at the Insider Dealmakers Awards 2017 at Belfast Waterfront.
The event brings together the cream of the legal, accountancy, banking and funding communities to celebrate those who have excelled in dealmaking over the last year.
According to Managing Director of Corporate and Business Banking, Shaun McAnee, the accolade is testament to the support the bank provides to Northern Ireland’s business community.
“Danske Bank is privileged to support many of Northern Ireland’s top companies in their growth ambitions and to play our part in growing the economy. The fact we have been voted Corporate Bank of the Year six times in the last seven years is testament to the expertise and commitment of our teams of relationship managers and specialists and their strong focus on customer satisfaction.
“In 2016 we supported a number of significant deals such as the purchase of Bloomfield Shopping Centre by Tristan / Ellandi, a major refinance deal for Clanmil Housing and the acquisition of LSS Ltd by LCC Group and the sale of O&S Doors to Sun Capital Partners.
“This year will bring some unique challenges for businesses in Northern Ireland. It is important that NI businesses prepare for the future by investing in improving competitiveness, talent and efficiencies. At Danske Bank we will be working closely with our customers every step of the way to support them in their growth ambitions.”
