The project will develop and pilot a new blended-learning model that will allow vocational education and training (VET) organisations to offer courses that better meet the needs and demands of their learners and employers. It will also design and implement a series of blended-learning VET approaches aimed at modernising learning, teaching and assessment practices across 5 partner countries.

The Target group of the project are:

    • VET Providers/Senior management
    • VET Principals/Managers
    • VET Teachers
    • VET Learners
    • Employers
    • Awarding Bodies (state and private)

Belfast Met’s project will explore how blended learning can increase the effectiveness of education. There will be a focus on supporting leaders across the various partner organisations, to implement such change and to monitor its impact on the organisation, on learners and on external stakeholders. The project will also involve awarding bodies and industry to ensure that students are better prepared for the world of work on completion of the courses.
