As part of Bank of Ireland UK’s Enterprise Week, which runs from 11th to 18th November 2016, small business customers and non-customers in Northern Ireland are being invited to showcase their goods and services in bank branches across the province through the Bank’s popular ‘Show Your Business’ initiative.
The twice yearly event gives startups and small growth businesses a high street presence and an opportunity to raise their profile and drive sales.
For the very first time this year, Bank of Ireland UK has also offered 20 Northern Irish businesses the opportunity to trade at the award-winning Twilight Market, which is held at St George’s Market in Belfast City Centre and attracts an estimated footfall of nearly 20,000 shoppers.
One of the businesses to participate in the Twilight Market is JumpingClay, an educational franchise that allows children to learn new skills through the use of clay.
Nick Turkington, Director at JumpingClay, took part in the ‘Show Your Business’ event in CastleCourt last year and is delighted with the fantastic profile-raising and sales opportunities the Bank provides. JumpingClay Ltd. has seen substantial growth in the past 18 months and has extended its trading to Ireland. As the startup expands to other markets Bank of Ireland UK’s Global Markets Team is assisting the business with managing its currency risk.
The ‘Show Your Business’ pop-up events are taking place in various branches throughout the Bank of Ireland UK network right now, and will run until Friday 18th November.
