Belfast Met, Northern Ireland’s largest further education college, is offering the province’s entrepreneurs an opportunity to attend a free innovation seminar where they will learn about the concept of ideation and how they can use it to drive their businesses forward.
The two-hour ideation seminar,
From Ideation to Activation, will feature a series of high profile speakers who will explore how entrepreneurs can generate new business ideas and how they can harness the creative process to put an idea into action.
Attendees will also learn about the various funding and business support initiatives that are available to help Northern Ireland entrepreneurs scale up their businesses.
The guest speakers at the free seminar will include:
Eoin Costello, a serial entrepreneur, digital marketing expert and the former CEO of Startup Ireland and National Director for Ireland’s ‘Startup Gathering'.
Darin Smyth, Centre Manager for Gaming Technology at Belfast Metropolitan College, who will discuss technological trends, such as VR, and their role in game development.
Nuala Kilmartin, Senior Innovation Executive at Belfast Metropolitan College, who will provide entrepreneurs with an overview of the innovation funding initiatives available to SMEs in Northern Ireland.
The two hour workshop will take place at Belfast Met's Community Learning Centre, 398 Springfield Road, from 10am to 12pm.
The event is free to attend, but places are limited
so entrepreneurs should register for the innovation seminar online.
