    Your role in the team

     

    The Voice Analytics team in Allstate are continuing to transform. The successful candidate will join the Application Engineering team and work with the Product Owner(s) to develop Voice Analytics Services including Voice Recording, Voice Redaction & Transcription Services whilst continuing to support legacy voice products.

     

     

    In addition, the candidate will develop a partnership with product owners and key business areas to enhance and maintain the End to End Voice Customer Journey.

     

     

    This role is for an experienced developer who will have the ability to provide strong technical leadership, set technical direction and standards within the team.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

     

    • Lead the Voice Analytics Engineering Team.
    • Researching and evaluation of new tools and technologies to solve business problems.
    • Responsible for designing, building and enhancing Voice analytics Services.
    • Translate business concepts into technical implementations.
    • Work on a geographically dispersed team embracing Agile.
    • Participate in strategic planning discussions with technical and non-technical partners.
    • Effective and efficient utilization of Full Stack Development Capabilities and techniques.
    • Provides Strong Technical Mentorship and Technical coaching for the team and others and continually develops themselves.

     

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • A minimum of 5 years development experience with at least 2 years experience leading a team setting the technical direction and standard. 
    • Ability to Lead development in Springboot, Java 8 using RESTFUL APIs; and
    • Have experience of the full SDLC using agile methodologies; and
    • Able to Lead test driven development; and
    • Expertise in Kafka; and
    • Ability to lead development in PCF (Cloud Foundry),Git, Jenkins (CI/CD), Artifactory and Kafka; and
    • Knowledge of ReactJS; and
    • Proficient in Database Development and ETL Concepts.
    • Very experienced in Microservice based architecture.

    • Have strong organizational skills;
