    Your role in the team

     

    We are looking for an IT Asset and Expense Management Team Leader to join Allstate Technology and Strategic Ventures (ATSV) for a Fortune 100 company. The position is to lead, monitor, and supervise a group of employees to achieve goals related to acquisition and expense management for enterprise IT hardware and software. We work with talented individuals who come together as a team to support the Allstate Technology and Strategic Ventures (ATSV) organization.

     

    We are looking for a candidate who will motivate and inspire their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and demonstrates flexibility across multiple geographies.  The Team Lead may also have responsibilities for performing acquisition and expense management in support of complex projects, vendors and/or service providers.

     

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

     

    • Managing the day-to-day activities of the team.
    • Motivating the team to achieve organizational goals.
    • Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets.
    • Delegating tasks to team members.
    • Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential.
    • Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
    • Conducting performance reviews.
    • Contributing to the growth of the company through a successful team.
    • Creating a pleasant working environment that inspires the team.
    • Innovates and utilizes processes to ensure proper payment of complex IT leases, many diverse vendors and/or communication services for established vendors
    • Oversees that the processing of invoices (receipt, audit and payment) is accurate and is completed in accordance to our contracted terms for each vendor
    • Audit and support the management of asset or database records for assigned commodities
    • Ensures that monthly accruals are processed and reconciled as needed
    • Ensures that hardware, software, and services requests are reviewed for proper order completions, approvals, and adherence to standards
    • Supervises ordering queues to ensure work is distributed or rejected within our SLA timeframe
    • Validation that orders submitted by yourself and/or teammates are accurate
    • Daily coordination of installs, de-installs, disposals and/or redeployments of services, licenses and/or equipment
    • Partners with Asset Management in the development of and monitoring of adherence to asset management policies

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • A degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or similar discipline
    • 3+ years’ experience in a Finance role
    • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Continuous improvement mindset and experience
    • Experienced in key shareholder engagement, working as a trusted advisor
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office and the ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large amounts of data using tools, e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Tableau
    • 12+ months leadership experience
