Junior Compliance Analyst (hybrid or remote)

    Your role in the team

     

    The Allstate Technology, Services & Ventures (ATSV) Risk Management and Compliance team works across ATSV to provide critical information that drives compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and other Regulatory requirements. We recommend innovative solutions that guide strategies and improve compliance results. Our work includes timely reporting, critical analysis, issue management and project management as we interface with leaders across ATSV.

     

     

      Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

     

    • Contribute to the review of routine changes in company processes, standards and technology to ensure the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
    • Execute the assessment of compliance and security programs.
    • Assist in developing and implementing systems and business control procedures, programs and plans.
    • Contribute to planning and monitoring systems and business exercising and testing for controls and compliance.  Assist in exercising and testing the control procedures and strategies for different functional areas.
    • Participate in initiatives to ensure that controls and processes are operating effectively.
    • Assist in coordinating and communicating between the business and technology areas for general requests associated with standards and governing policies and procedures. 
    • Assist in providing support to stakeholders on requirements for new and existing business / technology solutions to assure compliance to standards and governing policies and procedures.
    • Assist in the administration, maintenance, development and/or implementation of technology solutions, plans, policies and/or procedures in support of ensuring compliance to standards and governing policies and procedures

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • 1+ years experience in either a risk, legal or compliance role
    • Builds relationships with client-base
    • Organisational and time management - manages through ambiguity, prioritizes multiple projects to meet business partner needs.
    • Detail Oriented

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Previous experience in risk management, compliance, control testing or a related discipline
    • Exposure to Tableau or similar analytical visual representation tools.
    • Data analysis and reporting experience
    • Presenting complex ideas at a senior level
