    Your role in the team



    Allstate Investments manages close to $90 Billion of assets across portfolios for three major clients for Allstate to meet their investment objectives. The business model provides the foundation for daily decision-making and portfolio management. Allstate Investments strives to provide sustainable, competitive, risk-adjusted investment returns and investment-related services for the benefit of the Allstate Corporation. The size of the investment group exceeds 300 individuals across a variety of investment disciplines including taxable and tax-exempt fixed income, equities, private and alternative securities and commercial mortgages as well as accounting, finance and technology.     Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)


    • Working closely with multiple teams/organizations spanning the Investments Technology and Business areas, as well as external data vendors, to develop, support and continuously improve processes for moving data in and out of the Data Hub.
    • Supporting and monitoring the inbound, outbound and workflow packages in the Eagle PACE and Infogix applications.
    • Maintaining existing platforms and participating in the creation of new business solutions from inception to fully developed products.
    • Understanding and converting business requirements into functional solutions.
    • Working closely with internal teams as well as Eagle Investment Systems resources to evaluate data issues through sound analysis and make recommendations for resolution.
    • serve as the 1st point of escalation for overnight issues and Oversight for support teams work tasks

    • Manage PACE Team VersionOne Board, conduct Daily stand-up Meeting and sprint planning meetings
    • Mentoring others and performing the Management function for the team
    • Reporting to management on development, implementation, and progress.



    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?



    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • Third level degree qualification in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent.
    • 5+ years’ experience with ETL techniques and tools, Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
    • 5+ years of experience with PLSQL and SQL


    We also have some desirable criteria


    • Experience with Eagle Investment Systems beneficial although training is available.
    • Experience in Application Batch support
    • Use a wide variety of tools and languages to achieve results (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL)
