    Your role in the team

     

    We are on the lookout for talented Accounting Analysts to join our growing innovative corporate accounting team who deliver quality reporting, working at the forefront of developing capabilities in support of Allstate’s global business model.

    The Accounting Analyst will report into the NI Finance team for delivery.

     

    Please note we have both permanent and temporary positions available.

    .

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

     

    • Posts and prepares intercompany monthly journals.
    • Prepare and process wire transfers for intercompany settlements.
    • Actively participate in the month end close including preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, account rollforwards, and other supporting schedules as necessary
    • Quarterly Statutory input into Wings system for cash accounts
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors
    • Innovate and collaborate with team both in Northern Ireland and Chicago

     

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • A degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or similar discipline,
      • OR a degree in a non-finance related discipline but supported with a post-graduate qualification within a finance or accountancy related discipline
      • OR 2 years’ experience in a Finance/Accountancy role
    • Obtained or working towards obtaining a professional accountancy qualification
    • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA.

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Experience with SAP or other data warehouse
    • Experience with Blackline and U.S. GAAP Accounting
