    Your role in the team

     

    We are hiring for a Senior Product Manager within our Direct Sales, Service & Marketing organisation. We are in the midst of transforming our organisation to standardise and optimise our contact centers as part of rethinking how we engage with our customers. This Senior Product Manager will play a key role in helping us define and achieve the future of technology used in our contact centers to support our customers with specific responsibility for our Contact Center CRM suite of products.

     

     

    The Product manager will have a citical focus on strategic product vision, product discovery, roadmaps, and backlogs to maximize the customer and enterprise value by ensuring the right customer information is available at the right times and in the right medium. The Product Manager is responsible for building key relationships and working closely with key stakeholders and partners, ensuring the successful definition and execution of strategies and achievement of enterprise goals. Product Managers are also responsible for actively participating in our learning culture; including coaching and mentoring staff, stakeholders and peers.

     

     

    This role directly supports Allstate’s vision and strategies of transformative growth and Contact Center Modernization. 

     

     

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

     

    • Create, drive and execute product strategy for one or more products in our growing digital product portfolio
    • Create product backlogs and manage product strategies including feature/story creations and prioritization
    • Create and manage KPIs and an effective vision with timely stakeholder feedback on iterations
    • Be recognized as the “voice of the customer”; invest significant time with current and potential customers to understand their needs & habits
    • Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and direction
    • Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to make decisions about product strategy
    • Define and manage metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy
    • Decompose complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing efforts
    • Manage prioritization and create an effective vision with timely stakeholder feedback on iterations
    • Lead a small team of Product Owners
    • Coach and mentor members of the team as well as members of the cross-functional development organization on how to collaborate and conduct idea generation, consumer research, test design and execution, measurement, product implementation, customer interactions and roll out

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • At minimum 5+ years’ experience in product manager / owner or business-related experience or technical leadership (preference will be given to relevant CRM experience)
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex concepts and the ability to solve complex problems
    • Effectively lead and collaborate across boundaries to implement decisions and /or initiatives
    • Experience leading, coaching and mentoring personnel 

     

     

    The successful candidate must also demonstrate competency in:

     

    • Ability to measure, evaluate and act on financial and operational results
    • Ability to implement business strategies across multiple distribution channels
    • Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to influence others
    • Ability to drive individual and departmental goals 
    • Strong interpersonal, analytical, time management and organizational skills

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Experience working in an agile methodology
    • Experience working with contact centers
