    Your role in the team

     

    Allstate is seeking a well-qualified, experienced, and talented Developer to join Enterprise Shared Services.

     

    The SharePoint Online Developer candidate should be able to analyze, recommend and assist in Implementing SharePoint technologies to support opportunities that will benefit the entire Business Enterprise.

     

     

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

     

    • Developing the AllConnect platform into Allstate’s new Digital Workplace
    • Integrating externally sourced data via PCF or Apigee into the Digital Workplace
    • Unit Testing
    • Support Business partners in developing the platform

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • At minimum 3 years' IT industry experience including recent extensive experience with SQL and C#
    • Experienced developing and maintaining front and backend applications utilizing technologies and frameworks for example Node.js, React, TypeScript etc
    • Utilizing REST API’s for interacting and integrating with various platforms

     

     

    The successful candidate must also demonstrate competency in:

     

    • The ability to work directly in a team environment with a business group to translate business requirements into reporting solutions and solving potentially complex problems.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively between organizations at all levels
    • Ability to work on a team as well as independently with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlines
    • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Experience working within the Microsoft Stack:  Azure, MS 365, SharePoint etc.
    • Well versed in developing solutions and components utilizing SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
    • Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture
    • Prior experience administering and developing for SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Command-Line Scripting experience PowerShell, Jenkins etc.
    • Experience in SharePoint branding using out of the box Microsoft SharePoint functionality and Office UI
    • Experience supporting any public and/or private Cloud environment
    • Microsoft Certifications are preferred
