  Role Overview:

  The Database Architecture Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
  
  Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of EQ Architecture team with EQ dev and Citi Tech Infra teams to determine structural requirements and developing solutions.

  • Ensure security of all information and computer systems and digital data.
  • Ensure adherence to Citi regulations and guidelines for technological systems and safeguarding of data.
  • Recommend upgrades and systems for purchase.
  • Trouble shoot and find solutions for systems issues that affect data storage as they arise.
  • Achieve architecture operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, implementing production and quality standards, resolving problems, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing change.
  • Meet infra financial objectives by forecasting requirements, contributing to budget discussion and identifying opportunities to reduce
  • Build awareness of organisational mission, goals, and business drivers, and confer with senior management to understand information requirements.
  • Determine platform architecture, technology, and tools.
  • Improve architecture by tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements within Citi structure.
  • Communicate technology needs and strategy across EQ tech.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.

  Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
