    Your role in the team

     

    Allstate is looking for a Communications Business Partner to help support the Senior Leadership team within our roadside technology team. This individual will use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to assist with the daily operation of the Allstate Roadside Technology Department.

     

     

    The successful candidate will work across the AR Leadership team to drive Executive-Level Department & Initiative updates, help focus, define, and track AR IT Departmental & Business Goals, support and drive the vision for key Technology Reporting innovations and enhancements and help lead and coordinate regular strategic planning sessions.

     

     

    We are looking for an individual with great executive communication skills, who can coordinate data collection, analysis, and vision across multiple teams, someone that can work independently, and who will be an agent of change for the department. 

     

     

     

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

     

    • Collaborate with AR IT Leadership and Executive team members to support overall technology and business strategies
    • Coordinate, focus and steer the AR IT Senior Leadership weekly sharing meeting and Departmental Organizational Strategy Sessions along with ad hoc workshops / meetings of Departmental significance
    • Support and enhance departmental reporting (ITSM, Engineering, Security, Agile Portfolio, etc) on the Power BI app
    • Provide department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork along with tactical support to implement ideas; additionally, identify and provide recommendations on improvements across the organization as a whole
    • Help identify, develop, and report on Departmental Key Performance Indicators and goals; working with leadership to monitor and communicate progress towards goals
    • Provide support and oversight in response to special Executive requests and inquiries on behalf of the AR IT Senior Management team and Divisional CIO
    • Oversee strategic organizational initiatives from ideation to implementation
    • Provide Senior Leadership with insight and analysis on the department’s operations
    • Lead activities to ensure the team environment is fun, quirky, and energetic

     

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a technical organization with PowerBI Reporting
    • Experience communication/presenting reports/presentations to both technical and non-technical team members
    • Experience communicating storylines to executive audiences using expert PowerPoint creation skills

    • An effective facilitator with the desire to cultivate leadership and high performance within the department and leadership team
    • A data-driven thinker who pairs sound judgment with strong analytical thinking
    • Incredibly focused and attentive to detail, even while working in a very fast-paced environment
    • Able to prioritize tasks for yourself and others, plus remain productive while balancing multiple projects
    • Ability to quicky pivot focus in response to business priority
