    Your role in the team

     

    This is a great opportunity for a Product Owner who wants to join a product team that is continually striving to improve our teams, the value we deliver and our product practices as part of our learning culture.  This role will involve mentoring and training, for example shadowing other Product Managers. 

     

    • Working as part of a Scrum team you will help with the following - defining goals, creating roadmaps. prioritising work efforts, creating user stories, sprint planning and stakeholder communication  
    • You will help with the coordination of cross functional efforts
    • You will be expected to also prioritise personal development and be an active part of our product team as we look to collectively do things better
    • You will bring a product mindset and help frame business challenges into deliverable stories
    • You will be given help and support as we will expect you to come to fully understand the product team in terms of the technical challenges and details, key integrations and the functioning of the application area
    • Per the nature of this role you will be the main conduit between the business stakeholders, users and the product engineering team
    • You will play an active role in team ceremonies and look to ensure we use feedback to seek improvements

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • At minimum 3 years’ experience working in IT industry with a minimum of 1 year experience in a Product focused role (i.e. as a Technical Lead/Business Analyst/System Analyst/Project Manager)
    • Practical experience working with Agile methodologies in multi-team agile environments

     

    The successful candidate must also demonstrate competency in:

     

    • Demonstrate how you applied your ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Previous experience as a Product Manager/Owner is preferrable
    • Experience working within Information Security
    • Achieved an Information Security Certification
