    Your role in the team

     

    We are currently seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join our growing Investments Finance team, delivering meaningful reporting, analysis and processes for a Fortune 100 company.

     

    The Investments Finance team work with talented individuals who come collaborate to provide accounting, planning and analysis, financial reporting, valuation, research and project management for the Allstate Investments organization. Allstate Investments has decades of experience pursuing strategies in a broad array of asset classes and geographies in both the public and private markets.     Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

     

    • Providing financial analysis to support external reporting on Investments for The Allstate Corporation and its subsidiaries as required by to the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC - GAAP) and National Association of Insurance Commission (NAIC - Statutory). 
    • Reporting and analyzing financial data, capital related and statistical projects 
    • Investigating basic financial and/or statistical issues and questions
    • Participating and completing adhoc projects/requests
    • Preparing monthly, quarterly, annual reports and presentations of a financial nature
    • Working closely with management teams and key stakeholders in the organization

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • A degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or similar discipline, or
      • Non-Finance degree supported by plus 1 years’ experience in a finance/accountancy or
      • Plus 2 years’ experience in a Finance/Accountancy role
    • At least 12 months experience in a Finance role
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large amounts of data
    • General understanding of financial and accounting concepts
    • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access and Power-Bi
    • Experience with SAP or similar accounting system
